Nope neither did i! There'll be a lot of stuff to change around. Remember when the 2 pound came in seemed to take ages for everywhere to accept them.

It looks like the old thru'penny bit. probably worth about the same too these days.:p:

Apparently 1 in 30 of the round £ coins are fake. The round ones fall from use next Autumn.

Members should also be aware there are already fake versions of the new £5 plastic note about. I got my first one today and checked it before leaving the shop.

I get a few fake ones in the cab .

They go straight to the next punter in their change ..:D:D:D

The new ones have been made like that, so you can get them out of a Scotsman's hand, using a spanner:D

Thats just plain racist .....:D

Always thought it was 10 bottles of whisky , a cosh ( to knock him out ) and a crowbar ( to open hand or wallet )
