1.8T backbox?

Does anyone know if the exhaust diameter is the same on a CDTi as on a 1.8T? I thought the different engines had different diameter pipes, but the seller is saying they’re all the same?

Thanks.

If you look at Rimmers site for the ZT diesel it would appear that the diesel uses the 75 bore of 57mm and Rimmers don't appear to show any currently available (at least from them) exhaust for a ZT diesel. The 1.8T and V6 ZT's definitely both use the 60mm bore

Thanks, the 1 I’m looking at is a power flow or similar, stainless back box. So if the 1.8t has slightly larger bore I guess I should be able to cut my back box off and hopefully fit the stainless pipe over it.

I have been measuring exhausts over the last few days.

The CDTi is indeed 57mm outer diameter. It the exhaust you're looking at is 60mm outer diameter it should slide over but will likely have a flaired end that you will need to cut off or fit a sleeve.

I just bought a used ss cat back system with an outer diameter of 60mm and I have a ss front pipe with a dummy cat with 63.5mm outer diameter so hopefully one will fit within the other with a bit of fettling, they both have flaired ends that will need removing but I have about a meter of overlap.
