How to fit an OEM tow bar to a tourer/ ZTT?

Been looking through the archives, but can't seem to find anything on this? I've bought a tow bar second hand off ebay (without instructions, obviously), and it is the tourer version.

I presume that this won't be too difficult to fit - anyone here done it, and how? Also I didn't see anything on how to remove the rear bumper?

Cheers chaps :)

to remove bumper 5/6 scrivets along ,top self tappers on lower edge at front
then pull away from car at top of bumper(front)
remove crash beam 8 13mm bolts
holes should already be there for tow bar

Done one on saloon crash bar off towbar then bolts into holes where bar was and also onto chassis legs might even have a wiring explanation if needed

That's going to be invaluable I think. The tow bar is the original - and I recall reading that this should simply connect up to a connector inside the nearside wing panel? Not sure whether this is just the work of my fervent imagination or not??? Hope not, as it will certainly make my life a lot easier if the electrics are just plug and play...

I believe the OEM ones were Brink/Thule. From this site you can down load a PDF instruction manual. Only appear to have the Saloon but the only difference is that two bolts are longer on the Tourer.

Been searching... I'm being a muppet: I can't find the pdf instructions - can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks...

Click on the link, scroll down the page and the fifth towbar down has a little PDF symbol with Download manual under it. Click on download manual and there you are!
