Thumbnail pics v. full pics.....
You may not be aware but Registered Users cannot see the full pics from thumbnails (Subscribed Members can click on the thumbnail and see the full picture, providing they have the necessary software to do so). Might be an idea to expand the thumbnails into the body of the post ;) This simple procedure could help to maximise your selling abilities :D
Once you have uploaded the thumbnails, edit the post and the thumbnails will be shown at the bottom of the page. Right click on a pic and select "Copy Image Location". Then go to the main body and select the 'postcard' icon (http://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/foru...nsertimage.gif). CTRL +V the link into there and the pic will appear in the main body ;) Repeat as necessary :D BTW the pics can be inserted into your post wherever the cursor lies. An example of the difference between thumbnails and full pics can be seen here..... http://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/foru...3&postcount=14 Hope this may help you guys :} |
HI Dragrad ,Tried to enlarge pics as outlined by you. However I have no option (using Windows XP SYSTEM) to select "Copy image location" only "copy image url" or "copy image" this just results in a link being printed -any thoughts? Thanks in anticipation, RayDar

Can this be done on iPads or tablets too as most people use these now

Now copy the url of this full frame image, then hit the back button until you are back to your original post. Next, edit the post and type (IMG] followed by pasting the copied url, then [/IMG] at the end. Make sure you use a square bracket at the beginning '[' not a regular one as above, I had to here in order for you to see what I am typing. Save the edited post and you'll have the picture embedded at full size :) |
So not just a click away then Reebs lol. I suppose it's easy once you do it a few times

I followed the instructions and all it did was put a link in the edited post which went to a thumbnail size inmage :icon_cry:
Need a more informative step by step, must have missed something. Do you enlarge the picture your moving or click copy image to on the thumbnail? Ken |

When copying the picture link in full it already includes http:// http://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/foru...9&d=1419850698 but there's already http:// in the insert image button http://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/foru...8&d=1419849813 which will need removing prior to inserting the link. However, and hopefully not to confuse, I find it much easier to right click on the picture when enlarged, copy it, then right click and paste it into the body of the post where required, works fine with both IE and Chrome - cannot comment for other browsers though. |
Thank you, will give it a try.
Ken. EDITED: Well that worked, thank you very much, we always learn. |
