non working cruise control

ok other little niggles being sorted so i gonna see about this, the clutch switchahs been put back in and dont know if there is any others to check as canni see any and all fuses are intact and when i press button on centre consol green light comes on but when i press set on steering wheel nothing happens at all, is there anything else i can check?

Only thing I can think of is to make sure the clutch switch is pushed fully in because just a 0.1mm gap can fool the cruise into thinking the clutch pedal is pushed in

ianfletcher 4th April 2013 18:15

Oh and make sure your doing around 30 Mph because anything slower and it won't work

tryed at 60 mate and nothing also clutch switch clicked twice into place and it seems secure, is there anything on brake or accelerator buddy

humptynumpty 4th April 2013 18:28

also tryed to see if i cud lift clutch with toes and fedal has no free movement

ianfletcher 4th April 2013 18:31

There is a switch on the brake pedal but if this is the cause your brake lights wouldn't work

May sound silly but your pressing the speed increase button to set it and not the middle one are you?
