MG6 BTCC Edition
Not been on the forum for sometime now as sadly had to sell the 75 a few years ago, however there has always been an urge to get another Rover / MG in my life.
After many year's of searching I am now the proud owner of a 2014 MG6 BTCC Edition. Only 5 showing as registered ! I have been trying on various forums to try and track the last owner. All I have managed is a first name, Simon :duh: And before people say I know it's not a real Rover, she is pretty special :drool4: |
Will get some pictures sorted this weekend, if the rain ever stops
I know the BTCC Edition is just cosmetic, but this does help with insurance and more importantly spare parts availability :} |
how about a new one .. :D:D:D

Smart looking thing :drool4:
Will the new MG6 ever come over here, i do wonder if MG have given up with selling this type of car in the Uk, its all superminis and suv's now. |
As a Mg sales manager I do get asked all the time, when will we get a 2 door sports car, when will we get a sports saloon....
Unfortunately the 6 was a flop, mainly due to people have moved away from family saloons, unless its German, and a fleet vehicle driven in anger....MG couldn't sell the cars for the kinda discounts big fleets are used to getting and the residuals weren't good enough...as you say its all small hatch backs and SUV's now and you have to run with the pack if you want to be a success. However MG are doing well and more models are due to land in the UK so fingers crossed! |
