NEW NORTHUMBRIAN GATHERING-May 15th & 16th
Please be aware this is not an official 75 & ZT Owners Club meet and as such is not covered by the clubs public liability insurance.
Also the owners club take no responsibility for the meet in any way. http://www.experiencewoodhorn.com/im...ogo_square.gifhttp://www.dreadnoughtcoaches.co.uk/main/# Right then folks it's official (unofficially) The new northumbrian meet will take place at Woodhorn Colliery Museum/QEII Country Park nr Ashington on the 15th & 16th of May. I thought I'd try something a bit different this time so decided on a 2 day event. The site consists of a country park with a lake & huge free carpark & also the Colliery museum, also on site at Woodhorn there is a Premier Inn & Brewer's Fayre pub/restaurant called the Woodhorn Grange for those who are travelling from further afield. The plan is to congregate at Woodhorn around lunchtime on the Saturday & have a liesurely drive up to bonny Alnwick to catch a ride on Dreadnought Coaches open topper & possibly a quick visit to Dreadnought's depot to see the rest of the vintage fleet, then back to Woodhorn to prepare for the evening ahead which will either consist of a trip to the nearby Widdrington Inn for some proper good value pub grub & then back to the Grange for an evening of socialising or failing that a meal & social evening at Woodhorn. Then on Sunday a nice lazy meet in the QEII carpark & a wander across to the museum to see how coal mining was done back in the day, also BigRuss will be bringing his T4 for anyone who requires a health check or options enabled/disabled So who's up for it? 2Diesels (Sat & Sun) Weila bse1966 (Sun only) suzublu (Sun only) kieranswood (maybe) vincent48 (Sun only) andyd358 (Sun only) pab (Sun only) Jig The Pig (Sat & Sun) BigRuss (Sun only) T4 Services available on the day FredSpencer (Sun only) dc10sm (Sun only) justmicky (Sat & Sun) Jonathan jm's mate (Sat & Sun) dissy1810 (Sun only if it's a nice day) billnick (Sun only) |
