Radio code for 75 conn 2001 2.0l V6

Hi guys
I have needed to recharge the battery on my new 75. Although as yet to refit the battery I was wondering about the code. I cannot find anything in the info that came with the car. Any tips would help. Cheers

Depends on what radio is fitted, have a look here. Yours being a 2001 model (provided its the original radio) will be either a Harmony or a Symphony. Harmonys were factory coded, Symphonys were coded by the dealer at the customer's request, as a result the majority of Symphonys were not coded.

my symphony had its code written in the users handbook , by the previous owner. worth a look. or even the service book.

On my 1st 75 it was written with indelible ink onto the radio

mine was too. i have on previous vehicles removed the code and changed it. i cannot remember if there is an option for this to reset your code in the radio booklet if you have one.

I've asked advice on this for my Symphony before - no code in the handbook, none written on the radio. I have always maintained 12v to radio when changing battery etc. I don't want to try to set a code in case it asks for a current one which I don't know. It may well not have one set but I can't risk it ! Any ideas?

there used to be a website online where , if you supplied them with the make /model/ and serial number, then for a small fee would get the original code for you. i have not checked if it is still available though.
