The Bear will be................
............................. growling up to the breakfast meet at Frimley tomorrow. The fuel stations have been notified and are on standby. Going the direct route A38-M5-A30-A303-M3. Just a shade under 190 miles, no doubt we will hit that magic three figures, 69.9mph, where applicable or known as Warp Factor 3.
It will be our first long trip since August last year. Have to take the Bear as Banana is still not right, hoping to get up to Matt’s this coming week to get ole Yella sorted out. Bear will be doing her Banana Express bit, and delivering parts from our freebie stock. It’s a day trip, so keep your eyes peeled for us. Wave, toot, or flash those clean lights. |
See you there Bob, not sure if I'm taking my V8, if it's raining I'll leave her wrapped up :D and take the derv.
Safe trip Bob. |
Enjoy Gents, hopefully the weather will be kind to you.

No boy racing on the M3 just because you have MG ZT 260's. Bit of Decorum required. Will be good to see you both. Heck of a crowd coming.
Must get my Car Boot Sale fix. I aim to be there at 9.15. |
Hoping you all enjoy a hearty breakfast, and a great get together.
My nephew lives in Camberley, and one of these days ( Covid allowing ), I will have a weekend at his, and take in the Sunday morning Frimley meet. |
Enjoy the meet guys

Perfect timing.........
......................... for as I joined the M3 from the A303 there was Reebs in his Lagoon V8. And we convoyed into the meet, I let Paul overtake and lead me in. 20 MG Rovers including 3 V8’s, 1 new MG ZS and a Ford Focus made the meet.
The Bear travelled a total of 359.3miles and never missed a beat. Torrential rain all the way home for me. Photo’s will be up on the events page for the meet. |
What flight level did you use Bob?
|
Thanks to Bob and Brian for delivery and transportation of a wing for me
