German Members... Need help please
 
Good Moring, have we any German members that can help, I am in need of a Sim Card to use whilst in Germany. A pay as you go... With data on it.
Is anyone able to help, by finding out cost and purchasing and posting it to me if I send the money.

Going to Black Forest area on June 17th

Yes there have been changes but the full effect does not hit until 2017. Presently Three is just over 24p per minute and under 8p for incoming, Germany is not one of their 'Feel Free at Home' locations... So a local Sim will be cheaper

Tesco mobile let you now roam and it comes out of your allowance. Just back from Spain and it was fantastic.

I was in Germany in December, and texts were a miserly 1 penny each to send, and free to receive.

Although roamed data services now a lot cheaper, following the changes in the EU rules, I think you only get some kind of cut down service. My home network is SFR in France which is part of the vodafone group. When I'm in the UK, if I use a pay as you go vodafone sim card I get 4 G or a strong data connection most of the time, while if I roam on my sfr chip, I never get 4G, the best is poor 3g+ and frequent drop outs. The voice connections are no different. Sorry I have no experience of Germany.
