Looks better than the last picture in the mud puddle you posted Keith :D

Keith 30th November 2006 17:35

Ah well that was "up north" mud we get a different type in Shropshireland.
I have polished out a few scratches, still working on the wheels though

NOCTURNAL 30th November 2006 19:35

on the subject of wheels...
'Shadow' apex was on my must have list, However unfortunately the ones on my car were attrocious... (sp) not kerbed, just huge chunks of 'finish' missing :( I opted to have the dealer get them done, as I have a mate with a vxr Monaro that has a shadow finish and he shelled out £75 a corner (for a good job) This was out of my budget at the moment.
I didn't expect the finnish to be 'original' as the dealer seemed 'in the dark' when I mentioned the process involved, and how hard it was , but I wanted them done so accepted the silver finish I eneded up with.

They look fine and suit that car, so will do for now... but I do love the shadow finish....:drool4:

They look like they have had an abrasive treatment of some kind mine are in a similar state as well, not a particular well designed finish for day to day use is it.

Ouch! Those do look bad!

Apart from some brake dust pitting (well, OK, quite a lot of brake dust pitting where I've not washed them), they're still looking great after 3+ years!
