Which wire is the seat heater

Looking for advice here. My drivers seat heater is not working.
I have a selection of new carbon heat pads. Any time I have done this job in the past I have just run a new loom to activate the pads.
This time I would like to use the existing wiring if that is possible.
Can any one out there tell me which plug under the drivers chair and what are the wire colours. Pictures would be great.
I would like to cut the existing wires for the heat pads and connect the replacements direct to the existing wiring.
Help please!!!!

If you're using the OEM wiring, then the car switches the earth to the seats. In the under seat multiplug, that is the thick yellow wire. The ignition switched +12v is thick orange/yellow wire.

I have always assumed that the switched earth switches work in the same way as a normal switch. I have always believed the switched earth fires a relay that powers the accessory.
Am I right in this assumption.
From inspecting a heated seat switch the circuit inside would appear to start a timer that runs for about 20 mins or there about.
Does it fire a relay and if so where is it. Just thinking another possible place for the fault.

There is no relay, the seat heaters are controlled by a temperature sensor in the seat, and the electronics in the switch.
