Clayed it today!

When I finally got away from work yesterday (oh & can you just do this before you go) I went to Halfords & bought myself one of these Meguiars clay kits everyone keeps chirping about, also bought a top up of Autoglym Super Resin & a bottle of that Extra Gloss Protection stuff.

I started last night with the clay & at first I couldn't get away with it it just seemed to slide about & do nothing but anyway it got cold & the pub was open so I gave up. I started again this morning & when I did the roof I seemed to pick up quite a bit of stuff on the clay but when i did the Driver's side it really seemed to start working & it lifted off loads of cack after which I polished the whole thing with S.R. & then smeared it with glossy stuff & I'm well impressed with the result.

Pictures to follow not got a camera handy

Regards Colin

Thanks Phil, It's a painstaking process & I dont know if I did it right but it's nice & smooth so I'm happy.

I'm going to do the Volvo next week so it looks a million dollars when it goes on sale

I bet it did Phil that was a smart looking motor that.

I'm expecting the Volvo to come up stunning (oh no no what av I said) because it always looks good even with a quick rub over with the autoglym
