Tourer rear window backlight

Mine is locked again. I have tried 2 switches, have fitted a new window and tried 2 solenoids. Nothing appears to work. I also have a bulb failure warning light for the offside low beam. But new bulbs, new unit(xenons fitted now) and no breaks in wires I can find. Is the locked window and bulb warning symptomatic of error codes being stored in ECU?

Two different ECUs in play here; the BCU does the locking and windows (amongst other things) whereas the LCM does the lighting. I suspect a cable break or damage causing the tailgate issue - check the hinge areas of the glass and the tailgate itself as this is most likely where the cables will be failing. No idea about the dipped beam warning though.

Ok an addon to this. Did some work and had to disconnect the battery.
As before the warning lights gone. But, I haven't needed the lights yet.
I have flashed a few folk to be courteous and no warning. So have I maybe budged the connection to the LCM when I was fitting my new steering column? I wasn't aware of doing so but is the main column wiring attached at somepoint to the wiring from the LCM??
