Scarborough by night.

I've been practicing my night photography, I've tweaked these two, but I think they have come out quite nice.

Stunning those!

I used to work near Scarborough, many fond memories of the place!

Great images. Scarborough reminds me of some great holidays as a kid, and the amazing architecture of the famous Grand Hotel.

Great pics Simon, I need fish and chips on the seafront right now!

Super photos  - always loved Scarborough since I was a kid - used to spend a week's holiday at Cayton Bay with parents - they went off and did their own thing, and I went to the Cricket Festival for the week. As I'm only just up the road at Guisborough, it's an easy place to visit for the day too, and it continues to impress me in that it HASN'T gone the way of Blackpool, Gt. Yarmouth, Newquay and the like - it's maintained a more 'genteel' feel to it.

It's nice to hear that, I'm very lucky to be born and bred here, and love the town and surrounding area. And yes it is a very different place to the ones you mentioned.
There's often nostalgic comments about "Boro" when I post, I think maybe come the spring time I will arrange a little mini meet on the Marine Drive, I think a few people would enjoy the drive over for some Fish & Chips.
Kettle is always on for fellow passing members as well :)

Hi

Like the ones of the marina and the yachts in it. Nice touch with the extr lights on one of them.

Please let me know if ever we do a marine drive convoy, I would love that, Scarborough is one of my and wife's favourite places, I asked her to marry me there!:lipsrsealed:
