Film - The Martian

I cannot normally concentrate on a film whilst on a flight but last week I made a point of searching for a film I could watch.

The Martian was such a film and I found it was good from the start; a difficult subject considering this matter takes years to occur and there are at least two bases, in fact five, "millions" of miles apart.

The scenery was stunning and I now know where it was filmed, and it wasn't Mars.

The botanical questions raised ally to what Major Tim Peake is asking kids to get involved in now.

I went to the cinema with the kids when it was released, I wasn't keen on going but really enjoyed it

Here is a trailer for the movie, but there are some spoilers in the second video "Science versus Cinema" though it is very interesting.
