Guide Dog puppy food arrives in 20kg bags.....
It's a good game trying to find somewhere to store the new bag while the old bag is being finished off :D. Andy. |
They went through the 20 kilo bag of sunflower hearts in about six weeks. New bag arrived yesterday. Even getting Nuthatches appearing, apparently they're only just spreading to Southern Scotland.

All I seem to get in my garden these days are bluetits, sparrows, robins, blackbirds, wood pigeons and ring necked doves.
Used to be that visitors included long-tailed t1ts, a woodpecker and squirrels. All of those seemed to vanish after new properties were built on the land behind. |
The number of sparrows here has plummeted, rarely see one. Get Robins, various t1ts (Blue, Coal, Great, Long Tailed), Chaffinches, Goldfinches, Nuthatchs have started appearing. On the larger side, Blackbirds, Thrushes now and then, Magpies (too many of them!), Ravens, Crows, Pigeons and Doves.
Mentioned a new 20 kilo bag of sunflower hearts arrived a couple of days ago . . . . another one arrived today  My other half order the first one from Amazon before she went away for a couple of days, sent her a text to check her account. |
Can't seem to upload pictures anymore! Here's a short vid of Goldfinch and Siskins in my garden last year. Not loud enough to drown out the noisy zoom unfortunately.
