Radio from boot Highline system
Hi guys, I've recently bought a 75, the radio and navigation module? from the boot is missing previous owner took it out when the boot was flooded and has thrown them. I want to install an android unit which I bought not realising the parts were missing from the boot and can't get it to work I've found the large black block 16pin? Behind the ashtray but have been informed that it needs the radio from the boot to work as it's tied to the ecu. Is there anyway of bypassing it? if I have to buy a replacement that's what I'll have to do but would rather not have to if there's a work around hope I've explained it well enough

I've taken off everything from the boot (GPS and its CD reader) plus the multi-disc changer from the glove box and at least the original low line itself and swapped all that for an Android with 8.8" screen, GPS, radio antenna & GPS antenna incl. Low line or high line that doesn't make any difference when swapping with an Android.
And it works fine (I've to buy some wires and plugs to connect the Android to the system, plus adding 2 wires to make the SWC working). Have a look into the ICE section of the forum. :} |

The only concern is to do the right connection with the bunch of wires behind the dash.
