Tom Tom

Any one use the latest tom tom satnav for trucks

I need to update my satnav.

The only current model for trucks is the TomTom 6200 Professional or the Garmin Dezl 580 HGV and above
I know that with the Garmin, you can input the dimensions of the truck which is a little more accurate than the TomTom but how they are compared in real world environments I’m not too sure.

Tom Tom allows you to input dimensions to. I have a 520 go professional I have just bought but would like to update my old Tom Tom which is not supported by Tom Tom anymore, so I am looking for updated maps for the old unit so I can use as a back up.
They are available on certain sites but as I do not download from these sites I'm looking for another source I can get them from. Having used a Garmin for a car I wouldn't trust Garmin for the truck from my experience. In saying that I think Tom Tom is not as good as it once was, reliability is a must when doing 100k km per year and Tom Tom has given me that.
