Im about to change the rear springs because one had broken.
Are there any special tips or short cuts to make this job easier ?
Also changing antiroll bar drop links and bushes ..

Cheers in advance for any tips...

Hello Basil,
Marinabrian suggests loosening the rear subframe bolts on the other side and removing them on the working side, which will give you more clearance when putting them back in place.
I decided to do it another way. I used a scissor jack between the upper arm and wheel arch, and this widened the gap successfully.
Other people do this too.
Apart from that, the only problem you might find is removing the bottom damper bolt.
Oh, and you will need a BA2 socket/spanner, to free the brake pipe bolt :}

I did not think about the brake pipe.
Would i have to disconnect it or just remove it from the mounting ?

Did the Marinabrian method mentioned..........worked a treat, can leave anti roll bar in place and was quick.

Used the opportunity to paint and rust proof all of the subframe.

No need to disconnect it, just helps to unbolt it from the octopus tentacle thingy that the wheel hub is fastened to. (don't know it's proper name) :D
