Forum playing up
 

FOR THE ATTENTION OF MODS
Is the forum playing up? At the moment it will not let me see new post, says my PM box is full it is not, it accepts my log in but is treating me as a non subscribed member but I've paid/donated a subscription.

I know this forum has been playing up for sometime but I don't normally have any problems with it until now, as others have said it really does need sorting out properly.

Can a Mod have a look and bear in mind I'm a technophobe and hate messing about on computers when I'm not sure what I'm doing.

A donation is not a subscription, have you donated by mistake?

All ok here but I have reported the issue up stairs.

Thanks Dave, poor choice of words, but I am a fully paid up member even though I don't have a 75 anymore I still renew my subs every year. The forum was OK yesterday as I regularly look in, especially to see how Bob (flying banana) is getting on.

Thanks Bob, there's definitely a problem my end as there is no "new tabs" link, it says in bold type "Your PM box is 100% full" but it also says I've only got 49 messages, which is correct :shrug::duh:. However, I'm not "allowed" to see "new posts", if I go into members list and click on my forum name my details come up but if I click on any of the "view posts" I'm not allowed to my previous threads and posts.

It's all very confusing and a bit annoying. :o

Martyn, your user name is shown in blue, i.e. Unsubscribed. Are you sure your payment has gone through?

Thanks for the reply, it's possible but I usually get a reminder through about subs being due and I usually do it straight away, I joined on the 9th, May 2011 and religiously renew every year, it's only £10 after all. All this has happened overnight as it was OK yesterday but I don't know how can check if I've paid previously or not, I'm fairly certain i paid earlier in the year, but not 100% sure. Never gave it a thought to check my user name colour lol. If I've not paid it's another age related senior moment, lol :duh:

If you joined in May then you must have paid last year, and your renewal is not due until this May 2024 therefore yes it is wrong, i have said before the whole site needs updating i even said give us a vote if we would want an update, but i think it fell on deaf ears.

Just checked, I paid through PayPal last year, I don't recall getting a reminder though, I thought I used to get one. Anyway many thanks planenut for putting on the right track, much appreciated, I'll pay my dues and apologise to Bob. I'm still blaming my age :D!
