So sorry to hear of your loss Jay. I'm a newbie here and didn't read all thread to be honest as I was just going to reply about the house cat question.
As for the house cat question, then nothing wrong with a house cat in the slightest. Our 6 month old Bengal has never been outside yet but I'm planning on building a huge enclosed pen in the garden with a connecting tunnel to the house via a cat flap so that she can come and go in safety. There's no way I'm allowing "Smiggle" loose due to the scum that live on this planet that harm animals. Also there's the dangerous roads and scum that would quite easily steal her.
Being a Bengal she cost me a fortune, it would be like leaving a Ferrari unlocked with the keys in it.

Just caught up with this today. Sorry to hear about Toca, he was obviously loved and cared for very much. They are part of the family and we miss them terribly when they go.

Best wishes.

Les

So sorry to hear this sad news Jay, read it this morning. Hope you're ok, can't think how we'll take it when our little man goes.

Sounds like a plan Dave. You don't want to loose them:}
Here is (former Toca's) and Tilly's outdoor paradise in the small veranda I have on my home. I have a cat flap so access is always available.
