It is a bit more discrete than bolting my Eos 1D X to the boat:D

Seriously good footage can be obtained by GoPros and other such action cameras these days.
Being fully waterproof is an added bonus for those that like playing below the waterline or in the surf!
Pretty handy for mounting the camera on the boat book and checking the skin fittings etc on the underside of the boat when she is in the water.
Cheaper than having her lifted out or getting a diver in:eek:;)

Took me back to my boating days from Wayford Bridge in our Shetland Speedwell. Unfortunately, the 25HP Suzuki was a bit too powerful for Broads cruising, even on tickover! We had some great times.;)

My uncle had those in his boat in Chesapeake Bay in the States. His boat had originally been sunk (prior to his ownership) by hitting a semi submerged telegraph pole that had been dumped in the bay (they cost a fortune to dispose of in USA due to tars and creosotes in the wood). He salvaged the boat by a combination of inflating inner tubes inside the flooded cabin and pumping, after fitting a plywood and rubber patch to the hole. The boat was towed home and hoisted out of the water. The Pentas were stripped and found to be fine. The boat gave him years of service afterwards.
