If my car had lower mileage and I was sure my car would make it there and back Juergen, I'd be signing up today!

Looks like it will be a great event, especially if there was a convoy from the UK ;)

Rich, you don't need to bring your car under any circumstances. Everyone is welcome, with or without the 75/ZT! Maybe you can share the drive with someone else. Some friends are already going for a car pool.

There seems to be a problem with the offered payment methods. The banks charge an extreme amount of money for the transfer.

So please suspend your payment until this problem has been solved. We will look into alternatives and keep you informed.

Please have a look over here: http://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/foru...ead.php?t=2594

Kandyman 29th January 2007 12:13

dose this mean that we get in for free ;)

GreyGhost 29th January 2007 12:15

They are already charging double for you for your cheek, don't make it any worse for yourself. :D:oh you:

Ken 29th January 2007 12:18

Juergen couldn't everyone going over from here just pay when we get there?

Is that not the simplest way?

That’s it I’m not paying, who wants to sneak in over the back fence?

I bet they don’t have the guard towers to stop us like we had installed at the eden camp to stop members sneaking in:flame:

Not grilled like a Wurst auf den Grill

More like in darkened room with the bright lights and the rubber truncheons (the third degree). Typical Saturday night entertainment at Madame whiplash place for you (or so I've heard).

Jürgen 29th January 2007 20:43

Within the first 24 hours we count ...

14 cars from 5 nations* :)

Denmark
Germany
Luxembourg
Netherlands
United Kingdom

*alphabetical

Ken 29th January 2007 20:50

We don't do *alphabetical

As we are all supposed to be European nowadays the French call us Angleterre so that makes us top of the list!

Then I'll use the German form of UK, which is Vereinigtes Königreich. That means even further down ... :p:

GreyGhost 29th January 2007 20:57

Careful there Ken. We have Jocks, Paddys, Micks and Taffys as well as the sassenachs (spelling) on the forum, it's OK alienating our European fiends but not the locals.

Think I've mentioned this before but the wife doesn't see what all the fuss is about with the 75. Ok so I'm trying to strike a deal with the missus. We have never been to Luxembourg before and I would really like to go to this event.

Is it possible for 'er indoors and our 11yr old to wonder off to do some sightseeing shopping etc while I'm in the Castle on Sunday afternoon? Is there free time to do our own thing? Don't get me wrong.. I'm not being unsociable, :cool2: but trying to make it tempting for her.

Entirely up to you how you spend your time. There are the two events going on at the same time, Rover meet is a sideline to the main Luxembourg events.

Click the link for more info.

You might want to skip the intro on the site it does go on a bit although very clever.

It is being considered, once we decide on ferry times then we can take that forward.
At the moment we have Kandy and myself in my car and Ken and Christopher in Chris' car. Actros may well be going from Dover to Calais too, Mike and Passenger?. All would have to be co-ordinated.

Christopher 30th January 2007 16:24

I've got Stuart (my son) coming too ;)

Looks like a 4.30am crossing!!

Of course there will be no obligation to take part in any activities, you're free to decide. Although maybe your wife has to take the car to get to another event.

Hi folks,

some news about this event:

- XPart will join us in Luxembourg with some official representatives from France, Belgium and Germany. We will have the opportunity to ask questiions about availability of parts and other problems as well.

- On Monday may 28th we are invited to visit the european center of distribution of XPart in Metz (France). Experts will guide us there.

-We have already found some sponsors which gave us a number of very nice items for our tombola. Some items are a "must have" for every Rover/MG enthusiast.
We hope that you will buy a lot of lots for the tombola because the proceeds will be donated to a beneficial organisation.

Don't miss this event!

Register now!!!

Regards

Gert

Hello Mike,

Yes I know the link, but they demand a type of creditcard I don't have. When I receive an e-mail adress form Juergen I can pay anyone by Pay Pal.

Cheers Ralph

Hi,

it is no problem to pay via your normal bank account from the netherlands. Costs are the same than within the netherlands!

If you need our international bank account, just let me know.

Hi Ralph

Nice to hear that you'll be there, too. :)

If you have a PayPal account and follow the links provided by Mike, then you don't need your credit card details, because you can log on with your existing account.

But as you are from the Netherlands there is another way of paying your contribution for the meet. Just pay 50,- Euro (25,- per adult) with an Euro bank transfer to the account of the Club Seventyfive (BIC: CCPLLULL, IBAN: LU90 1111 2059 2389 0000 (but without any blanks, so for cut and paste use LU901111205923890000)) and add "Meeting Luxembourg 2007". Some banks charge high fees for international non-Euro bank transfers, so we offer PayPal, too.

PS: Gert was faster ;)

GreyGhost 24th March 2007 19:20

Thanks a lot for the quick response fellows. :)
Gert was quick but Juergen had all the details.
I think this one is a draw. :)

Hi Ralphy :)

I have taken the liberty of giving your email address to Juergen so he can help you out directly. Posting back and forth here results in long delays so I think it will be better.
Hope you don't mind.

Sorry if it has been mistakable, Ralph. Just drop the blanks, they are intended for an easier visually check only. I've updated my last posting accordingly.

I was finally able to register for me and the missis  We only have to look for a hotel now, because the accord hotel you guys are staying is all occupied for the 26 of may.

Anyone from Holland also registered recently?

See you all :grouphug: at the Lux meet.

Regards Ralph

Hi Juergen are you going to meet up with the british lot or will you have to be there on the Friday. :cool2: :driving:

Jürgen 25th March 2007 15:42

Hi Bri, our team will already be there on Friday. So we'll receive you and the gang on Saturday. ;)

gert 25th March 2007 16:47

Hi damydyo1,

yes, there are some more participants from the Netherlands. But they already had found accomodation at the Accor Hotel...

Nevertheless, you won't be alone:grouphug:

Caravanners

Hi Juergen

Just want to confirm that the official camping site is Parc Jaquinot at Bettembourg.

I will book with them direct using code "Rover". Is anyone else caravanning?

Chris

Jürgen 17th April 2007 15:51

Hi Chris

It seems that you are the only one with a caravan. :(

@all

Registration period will end on 30 April!

So come on, you know you want to... ;)

Hi Juergen,

For UK members note that for a payment using IBAN your own bank may still charge you up to £25 for the privilege  - worth checking before you commit to paying in this way.

Hello Juergen

Anybody wishing to purchase one of these, please take into consideration that there may be a hefty fee charged by your bank for an international transfer from UK.
Wisest choice would be via paypal.

On behalf of the club and members, thanks for posting this and being partly responsible.

(Thanks MIke, you were obviously up early today. :) Beat me by a minute. :) )

Just ordered mine and posted a global announcement so that your post is accessible from any forum. :)

Thanks, pals. PayPal will be the best choice indeed when using Pounds.

There are already a few orders via PayPal by now ... ;)
