Nice pics John. I think our cars crossed last week. I was up in the Lakes for the week and in the Workington area on the 25th. I just got a brief glimpse of your car but can't remember exactly where. I was in Whitehaven for a while taking some photos in the harbour then we drove up to Workington to have a look at the new bridge.

I wish I'd thought of it as I've decided I don't like the gear knob you fitted for me - you could have changed it back again. ;):getmecoat:

I was actually staying down in Eskdale. The trip up north was only a spur of the moment thing because the weather wasn't too good.

Nice car John, and some great pics.. :) (I saw your car at Gretna). :)

You obviously live in a very picturesque area, would you be so kind as to take a couple of pics of say, the harbour, with your car in the background, rather than the forefront?

My reasoning is, I love landscapes, but don't particularly want pics of cars on my walls, so this year, i am going to try to get some really nice landscapes and make my own calender up.. :}

If, by "chance", ;) there happens to be a 75 (or MG) somewhere in the background, so much the better innit.. :D :D :D

Personaly I think it would be a nice theme for this years club calender, but that's for the powers that be to decide innit.. :}

Let me know if you decide to pop over this way,could try and meet up for a minuuuuuute micro meet,unless you can tempt Colin out of hiding,havent heard from him for ages,or try and brush the remnants of that cold off Fred,you can always shove him in your boot along with that tree you got from Holker.

BTW the pic was taken at Bowes, when we went to the Fathers Day meet at Harewood House.

Many thanks Paul,yes the sky over the mountains was really heavy that day,pic was taken looking East towards Keswick,on a very overcast day. I normally like to take my photos in sunlight,it brings the colour of my motor,I think,out to its best.
