Steering Wheel Controls
Hi Guys
Can anyone help me with instructions for setting my steering wheel controls to match my Navall 3. I had it set OK for Nav 2 but won't work since change, and I can't follow the manual :duh: Same thing for OBD11 Torque. :duh::duh: I believe that fantastic man Sir Jeff (coolcat) has done videos but I can't find them either (Oh dear) trimani (ALF :duh::duh::duh:) |

Right then. I must be mad.
I've followed the suggested directions to set up my Nav 3 steering wheel controls, but I cant find anything that looks like my setup screen. HELP trimani (ALF) |

I just looked and the link that Gazcaz provided was my video for setting steering wheel controls on a Navall1  This is the video for the Navall3 Sir:} https://youtu.be/L8x0okuvq3A |
Thanks Sir Jeff, I really thought I had lost it.
I will try again. By the way, it looks as if change to Navall 'Star' might be on the cards.:D, Gazcaz, you are a naughty boy. Punishment: Lick your 'Exhaust Pipe' 3 times. Yes, the one at the back of the car LOL trimani (ALF) |
Change Of direction
I am changing to Navall 'STAR' complete, not just a screen swop for my Nav 3. Good deal from Sean (Radioguy) plus some features of 'STAR', swung the deal. Hopefully I shall soon be posting up how things are going :D Gazgaz, I forgive you. If you haven't licked your exhaust pipe yet, your reprieved LOL. :D trimani (ALF) |

Thanks Sir Jeff (coolcat),
I'm just hoping the 'Star' really is 'Plug & Play' :duh: Is the Igo 8 the same as the Nav 3. I'm hoping so. I will clear all of my rubbish off before I return, even the 'Vivaldi' CD. :D When will you have 'Star' in stock ? Cheers trimani (ALF) |
Quote:
Much the same as the Navall 3 for connections Sir. The Android head units use Igo Primo not Igo 8 which is the WinCe version;) Yep, remove cd and media card if installed :} I'll let Sean answer the 'stock' question:} |

Thanks Sir Jeff (coolcat) Yes, I meant Igo Prime :duh: Great shame I can't get to Norfolk  Looking forward to receiving 'Star' Cheers trimani (ALF) |

I wish I could get to you for changeover  Your fitting prices mention that you cover the 'M25 corridor'. Could you be more explicit on that. My nearest point to M25 is at M3 Junction. Cheers trimani (ALF) |

It means I could go to someones house within the M25 by prior arrangement Alf. Doesn't really help you though I'm afraid. I have to be realistic with travelling time as I do fittings on my days off which pretty much means when it's busy I don't get many days off:eek:;) I'm fully booked now until October......not that I'm complaining:} |
If it helps guys I live about 2 miles from J3 of the M3 so only about 6 miles or so outside the M25.
If that's close enough for Jeff you are welcome to use the drive if we can arrange a convenient date. (plenty of room to work) . Tea and loo also available provided you choose a day I can be here!. Mike |

That's a very kind offer Sir:bowdown: I shall chat with Alf when his unit is due in and see what's what;) P.s ...........your unit should be ready Thursday fingers crossed :) |
Thanks Jeff. Looking forward to putting it back in!
If the location works for you both then great. If not then no worries. All the best. Mike |
