Club Calendar 2022 Submissions - Deadline Sunday 17th October
Club Calendar 2022 For the fourteenth year running, the club is preparing to produce a pictorial calendar for the new year. The format will be A3 glossy. Submissions are limited to one per member and it's open to all members. You are each invited to submit one picture only of your car for possible inclusion in the calendar. Scanned pictures must be 300 DPI A4 or digital photographs must be high quality for print at 2480px x 1748px in landscape mode. Obviously only twelve can be chosen and the final selection will be made by the Club Team. All technically suitable entries will be posted in a temporary gallery for all to view until the closing date for submissions, allowing all to see what images are being offered. Following the closing date, the team will decide on the final selection, however any comments about individual submissions prior to that point would be greatly appreciated. We always consider group photos of 75's and ZT's for the front cover so if you have any suitable quality pics from any of the meets they will also be considered. Submissions should be in jpeg (100%). To submit your photograph:- Simply send an email with your correctly sized jpeg photograph as an attachment to the following address :smilie_re: [email protected] Please could you include your forum username within the email message or title, and also include any additional background detail such as where the picture was taken and make and model etc. which we would be able to include in the calendar. Once I have received your picture, I will upload it for reference onto this thread and retain the full size original until it is ready for use. The closing date for submissions is midnight on Sunday 17th October Small Print Copyright of submitted pictures must belong to the person submitting them, this to be transferred to the club for the purposes of creating the calendar. This is to cover the club in the event stock or studio photographs are submitted. Personal ownership, ie your own photographs, the club simply requires your permission which we will take as read by your submission. We also need to know whether you have a preference for displaying your number plate, or not. Blanking out of number plates may possibly render the picture unusable. |
Thanks Dave for the speedy entry :cool:

As has the better resolution version from sworks, thanks Mark :bowdown: |
Funny how many of the pics don't display the club badge? Maybe, just maybe . . . if there were a tie . . . then the car proudly displaying the badge might . . .

Jennifer, your new picture has been substituted as requested, and thanks to afirth1369 and pistons and processors for your entries, they may well be useful for the cover art :}
|
Email sent :}
|
Thanks to Alex D and VVC-Geeza, your submissions have been added to post #2.
Deadline is this coming Sunday @ Midnight, so a few more days left to get yours in if you're thinking about it :bowdown: |
Maxfly, your image has landed and is in post #2 now with the others, Colinjyates, unfortunately your picture is not of high enough resolution for print I'm afraid it measures 1242 x 1244 pixels which isn't landscape but portrait and it should be a minimum resolution of 2480 x 1748 pixels for printing. Can you send another?
|
Picture sent Paul. Cheers.

Oops sorry about the omissions especially when this car has had an interesting life.... Its an 04 75 V6 2.5 Auto petrol Connie in British Racing Green. The car was first registered on the 31st March 2004 via the Bromsgrove Phoenix dealership (ex-Clarks) however the build record shows the date of production as 28th April 2003. It is actually an old Car of the Month ( October 2015) having been rescued from a five year lay off. As far as I can tell it has been owned by Forum members since then including Trikey and finally myself. In that time it has had host of additions including a set of serpents, an SS cat to back exhaust, full underseal treatment, chrome door caps and new mud flaps. Internally there's Simons full, walnut package, a new walnut gearstick, handbrake sleeve and steering wheel and even Rover embossed headrests. It even retains it original low line sat nav with associated CD in the boot And its still got its engine under tray! Having just completed its 60,000 miles service, it still performs excellently however the sound on the SS exhuast does tend to scare the local cats! Still getting admiring glances including when I took the piccie which is in Horwich, near Bolton, with Rivington Pike in the background Hope that helps Paul |
Perfect, in fact we may need an extra page in the calendar to get it all in :D
Trikey, got Debs car picture now too. Won’t be able to put it in the gallery for a while like the others though. |
Thanks for all the entries, the deadline for submissions has now passed, so the green team will go into a huddle in the corner and deliberate. Watch out for white smoke out of the chimney. :}
|
is there a list of cars that made it into the club calendar?
|
I've just got my calendar today : thank you Paul.
Just the now usual eye watering customs price on arrival : 11€ (£9.50)! :icon_cry: |
