Frimley

Hi Peter, can confirm will be attending.

BRG75 4th January 2020 13:55

Good Afternoon to you.

Do you have room for two more please, both eating.

I did meet some of you at Guildford, last summer, when I had just bought a 1.8,
which is still not an everyday on the road car, unfortunately.

Clouds and silver linings, just bought a members 2.5, which only needs some cosmetic work.

Mike & Jan,

harrisop48 4th January 2020 15:55

Mike,

No problem, will add you to the list and eating.

Alex30013k 4th January 2020 17:13

oh go on then, if not too late can you add me for breakfast? spur of the moment decision

macafee2

harrisop48 5th January 2020 09:44

Excellent decision Ian, have added you to the list. For all newbies in particular and everyone else,we tend now to park on the overflow car park at the side of the Premier Inn.
This will be a bumper meet. 15 cars 18 people and still a week to go. On that basis I have e-mailed the Restaurant and requested the use of the Conference Room. Just had an e-mail confirmation from Russ that is OK. That took just 5 minutes for them to respond. Totally amazed!!!

Ian, I'm so sorry about not replying back, the forum interface in my humble opinion is not the most intuitive, I've been checking my personal email for the last month for a response :)I will be there for Breakfast and bringing a friend Robin who has an R75 Estate. We will look forward to seeing everyone on Sunday.

planenut 5th January 2020 19:18

Peter, judging by my rosters, I will be able to attend on Sunday, eating (for England) please!
Fred (planenut)

Cliff

Thanks Cliff, I suppose I should apply since Thorpe Park rejected my latest proposal, though the only Disney Character I could opt for would be Grumpy, 'cos other people have to ride too.

harrisop48 6th January 2020 10:14

Fred, added you and a guy called Robin from Farnham, to the list.

Ched 6th January 2020 10:24

Could you put karen and me down for eating as well please Peter.

harrisop48 6th January 2020 10:52

David,

Added you and Karen to the list and look forward to meeting you both on Sunday.

FLYING BANANA 10th January 2020 17:17

I’ll be bringing up some current club calendars with me, have a order for one, if anyone anything else from the club shop then please let’s me know As soon as possible. Please don’t leave it till Sunday morning to ask.

harrisop48 10th January 2020 21:20

This is turning out to be a Bumper Bumper meet. 18 Cars - 20 Eating - 2 Coffee
only and one of those 2 is me. Shock horror and amazement I hear you say!!!

I have a Viral Cough and Cold, cannot taste anything. Cannot sleep in bed on my side, just end up coughing. Will miss my first London Welsh Rugby game of the season tomorrow at Hemel Hempstead. Do not be offended if I stay well clear of everyone, just trying to protect you from this Lurgy.

It is showing rain for Sunday morning, so suggest you go into Pub, pay for Brekkie, get coffee and chat in Conference Room that is reserved for us.
It is at the end of a corridor just after the Beverage Station.
These meets run themselves to a degree, but any issues Teflon will resolve.

Peter.

Raven Black 11th January 2020 18:02

Tomorrow

Going to be a big one. Raven washed and ready to go.

FLYING BANANA 11th January 2020 18:35

Bear washed and filled up with go go juice.

dave freeloader 11th January 2020 18:46

We are unable to attend I'm afraid due too broken gearbox.

harrisop48 11th January 2020 19:25

Hi Dean,

Sorry to hear about that. Hope to see you at next Frimley meet Mid March.

Seablue 11th January 2020 20:33

Hi Peter,
Plan to be there with Steph tomorrow. Just read that you are under the weather - hope you feel better quickly.
All the best

Stephen

harrisop48 11th January 2020 21:01

Will add you and Steph to the list.

planenut 12th January 2020 11:27

Wow, what a turnout, excellent.
Well done Peter with the organization and the effort on your part, and I wish you and your good lady a speedy recovery.

Great to meet so many again, and to see new faces.

harrisop48 12th January 2020 12:03

I concur with your comments Fred. An absolutely brilliant, well attended meet by 23 Peeps from far and wide.
Apologies that I was not at my normal, ebullient, gregarious best.
Watching you all tuck into Breakfast was a form of Torture as my sense of smell and taste have deserted me and no point in partaking myself.
Extreme thanks to MikeNoc for changing my Headlamps Bulbs in situ.

keithst24 12th January 2020 12:24

Thanks Pete

Cracking turn out, I had a very enjoyable morning ...see you all soon.

All the best Keith

Teflon 12th January 2020 13:46

It seems the first national meet was held early this year, nice and local too :} . No raffle though, very odd .

What a terrific turnout on a damp January morning, and a sterling effort from Peter, firstly arranging the day, and then getting out of his sick bed to make an appearance

Home in 3 hours 10 minutes, same time in getting there. 374miles covered and we still have petrol, not a lot but at least we have enough to get us the Bear juice station tomorrow. And the Bear never missed a beat at Warp Factor 3 and a bit.

Nice to see everyone including those that are not often seen. Well done to Peter “No Breakfast for me” for putting it all together. I wish you a speedy recovery.

Many thanks to Jenny for my present, currently hanging up in the kitchen.
And a Thank to Keith for my breakfast.

Cracking photos as per norm Cliff.

I’ll post a few up once I have drained the tea pot.

BRG75 12th January 2020 14:01

May we add our thanks also, for a pleasant hour or so in like minded company.

And it is downhill, well it is if you look on a map. Anyway I like the noise the Bear makes.

Good to see you yesterday.
