i see a few about here but don't know any one much apart from 2 from barwell

i work just over the road and like you say see a few about.
some look like they are looked after.one or two not so much

i have a earlyone near me but they never seem to see me:getmecoat:

To be honest I dont flash or stick my hand up and wave anymore.
Most of the time you just get s funny look back.

Hi to you all from the area. I have not longed joined and I admit to not waving first but would always wave if waved to. Perhaps we should rekindle the old ancient act of saying hi to fellow members with a smile that says "don't panic we know what your going through".

Well I'm in Earl Shilton and I very rarely see a 75 or ZT but always flash or wave when I do but it is never returned!

well if you see a moonstone green with a shark fin its me :D
so flash away(so to speak)

And if you see a Pearl Black 260 with a grinning naive bloke behind the wheel, then stop me a buy one or just wave.

that may of been the wife on the way to work , was it a 04. if not it was not mine . alas on the way back from work the car clutch peddle fell to the floor and will be relayed to Austin garages in the mourning :o .... so i'll have to go up to Durham in the mgf for serious family stuff.... not the best of times :mad:

I never knew there were so many close to me we should start a local meet :D


by the way mines silver with a spoiler on the boot, just got her back on the road after sorting out the gearbox

I was a two cars back so don't even have a part reg number.
I see a few silver ones around.
one I have not seen for a while used to park up in the fitness place.

as for a meet up may work if enough are up for it.

if available on the date as we often have stuff on , to many events not enough weekends , weekdays are very pop luck as i can't say in advance what time i get home :o being a long distance delivery driver

Can we lock it down to a date and time. It would be great to know who is in the same boat oops no I mean with the same passion for Rover / MG ZT's.......

I have to work weekends so that's out for me.

i miss most shows because of this .

Be interested to join your meet up, if not intruding, never around locally at weekends either and Hinckley is just up the road...

more the merrier in my opinion and a weekday sounds just the ticket. Maybe a Wednesday or Thursday.

i tried this the other day, seen another MG ZT-T in black with the 17" MK2 alloys looked just like mine, i Gave a huge wave, they just looked at me like I was losing the plot.

Agree with you and Steve42, but, every so often, you get a friendly wave and smile back, although, since I joined, I have only come across one other fellow member's car....so, the "losing the plot" scenario, is the most common......nevertheless, persevere....
