To get an idea of the numbers coming and so the size of our stand, please post a reply in this thread and we will update the list for the organisers to keep track of.

The event officially opens at 10am and there will be marshals to guide you to the club stand, make sure you drive slowly on site and keep any pets on a lead.

That's my accommodation booked at Premier Inn Bromwgrove Central for two nights from the Friday. The site has a deal on at £65.50 for two nights so I've booked it. :D

Least I can't pull out now.

Can you attend without a car?

Hope to be there but this far in the future it's difficult to be sure. Probably in one of my 75s (possibly the £140 saved from scrap if it passes another mot) or might even be in an older Rover if I get it finished.

Of course. It's a free event. Come and go as you please. :}

Thats fine just let me know if you will be in the 75 and I'll add you to the attendence list, of course you can still park with the club even if you're not in a 75 or ZT.

I sadly have to miss the Sunday meet due to ferry timings but I will be about Birmingham all Friday daytime if anyone wants a mini meet.

Will there be a link to a Club Flyer to print out as in previous years and display in the windscreen of our cars with the club stand area number on?

I'm afraid I can't answer that one Clyde.
I suspect that reebs will add the required link to the print out, but from memory the POL organisers tend to leave things a bit last minute so I suspect that he has yet to receive that information..

I know that it's traditional to hold POL on the second Saturday of April but I feel that the attendance will suffer this year because of the clash with Easter weekend..

I will be heading down early on Friday and in the evening, will visit Q Gate and get some pictures of the car taken there. Anyone else is welcome to join me.

Hello everyone,

Hoping to be there again this year with my Cowley-made 75 (snow permitting :-).

This year, I intend to travel with the Cowley Convoy which departs from the Cowley (MINI) plant at Oxford at 8 am. Haven't managed this for the last few years - but it is a very enjoyable part of the event and you can travel either the scenic route through the Cotswolds or via the motorways, leaving half an hour later. Details and free registration are here: http://cowleyconvoy.info/ . All are welcome, irrespective of whether your car was made at Cowley or Longbridge.:}

I will park park up initially at POL with that group and then get across a bit later to join all of you.

So do we need window passes :shrug:

In a word Keith ..No.. you dont need passes of any kind to gain access to POL

The owners club usually put's up a link for members attending POL that gives the details of where the club stand is located within the park with a printable vehicle infomation sheet along with the stand number..
The one BIG problem however is the fact the the organisers of POL are always slow in passing on the stand infomation to the the owners club admin team.
If the infomation is forthcoming then no doubt the link to print off the info sheet will be posted, but there is no reason why you cannot just turn up at Crofton Park and ask the event stewards to direct you to the owners club desinated parking area.
I'm not attending in person and I think that the poor choice of date(easter weekend) will prevent most of the green team being available to erect/man a club stand although I do know that Actros will be there and he is well versed in POL procedure..

Can I ask who if anyone from the club is going to be bringing a yellow car also?

I would love to get a large group photo of all the yellow cars, be it primrose yellow, trophy yellow or sunspot yellow.

I had thought that as the event ends at 4pm, and that as everyone leaves we could meet as a group in the field, and park up, take a few group photos and so on!

I`ll bring my well used (spent half her life as a Birmingham taxi with the scars to prove it!) CDT tourer to stand amongst the pristine ones.

A tribute to the workforce at Longbridge that proved that in the end they could build cars that were amongst the most durable in the world :-)

I was wondering if anyone would be kind enough to fit my croft door finishers for me at POL to my 75 please. Many thanks.

We've just had word of the club's stand area for parking, it's the same as last year (that never was :getmecoat: ) Area 22

Click here to generate a windscreen flyer to print off and display on arrival, they say use Gate 1 for entry.

No map as such yet though.
