If you were not happy to let it go to such use then why sell old chap?

Doesn't bother me, I have the cash, he can do with it whatever he so pleases.

Hi.
I think Rich is being a little sarcastic.
In reality no one has any control over a sold car, it could be pampered or used for banger racing, that's the buyer's prerogative.
One thing for sure that's the selling prices of 1.8's now up to a better level .
Happy you got your price rich, patience pays off like I've said many a time.

Non member, going to be used to get to work and back and to take dog to the park.

Should be throughly ruined in no time at all.

Maybe I misunderstand but that's why the cars were built in the first place. Not everyone spends their life on the motorway.
I dare say many of our own cars were used in exactly the same way, it being a case of the owner's outlook on car maintenance & care which determines how a particular vehicle is treated rather than the actual journeys it undertakes. And maybe if he is the more carefree-type of owner, the Rover will impart some of it's ambience & he'll find himself wanting to keep it in the condition that he bought it in.
I do hope he'll cover the rear seat with a blanket when transporting the dog though. :}

I knew it would sell. Patience in all things. Well done Rich. :bowdown:
