We do indeed, some cats that come in to us have social issues or have recovered from medical conditions etc. The policy of the rescue is to give every cat a chance, even those that may not be suitable for re homing under normal circumstances:}

Seriously, sitting back and waiting for the right moment.
Letting them smell and get used to the camera equipment so they become familiar with it and also the sound of the shutter actuations .
A dangly toy and a laser dot can be used to get their attention as well;)
Mostly though it is making a fuss of them so they see you as a friend then sitting back and waiting.....patience is a virtue so they say:D

That gave me an immediate unintentional belly laugh......:D :D :D

Carole said I could have my pair for a third off the donation, but looking at all the good work that goes on there in my one and only visit was very impressive. Toca and Tilly came litter trained, full of health (on the best food for them) and well cared for, not to mention wormed and flead. Almost priceless. Needless to say I didn't her up on the offer;):bowdown:

Many thanks for the kind words Jay:}

One of the funniest things we get told is from the volunteers who help run the Crescent Cat Rescue charity shop in Walton On The Naze.
Peeps go in there and see something priced at say 50p then proceed to try and get it cheaper by stating 'it's only a charity shop isn't it!':eek:
Unbelievable some people:o

Yep Jeff, there are some tight fisted emotionally challenged people out there alright:( Perhaps a sign outside saying 'NOT A CAR BOOT SALE' should do the trick;):D
Hope Molly and Jo Jo are doing good. Some nice pictures of them:}

Very happy in their new home it would seem. I feel like the pied piper with them following me around. They get plenty of attention and have their own obvious personalities:}
