It's quite pleasant in the sun if you're out of the wind - Angela is in the greenhouse with half a ton (slight exaggeration!) of potting compost and loads of seeds - and it's lovely and warm in there.

Not worried about them, even they aren't stupid enough to be out on a day like this! Had to go up town, train of course, arrived back in the middle of a snow shower, drenched between the train and the car. Between the snow and the wind I looked as if I'd had my hair blow dried by Stevie Wonder!

Hi Phil.

It was taken last year at a place called Docklow Pools, we go every year In May for a weeks fishing, it has 8 lakes and a pub and tackle shop on site so no need to go anywhere, other than get supplies for breakfast, we eat up at the pub in the evenings, been going there for nine years now.
We hire a two bedroom lodge with a kitchen/ lounge ETC!.

Brilliant.

Good morning fellow human beings, hope everything is okay with you all now the weather has subsided, nice and bright here at the moment but still that cold wind, gone out to the pond and the fish have put their coats back on.
Good morning Derek and Lilian how are things in your neck of the woods.

I'm not convinced by the puppies/sell the 75 scenario, remember today's date.

Hoping the weather picks up for the Pol this year, unlikely that I will be able to make it ( my sat to work:mad:). But never say never. As always its a good day out.

Morning SteveV8, SteveGSD, Freddie, Jeff, Derek, Anthony, Tony, Stu, Adi, Thomas, Julien, Freddie - hope that's everybody, but if I've missed you out - apologies and morning to you too :D
I'm feeling a bit foolish after SteveGSD's post this morning - as should we all be if we believed him :p:
Wall to wall blue skies & sunshine up here this morning - the wind had died down dramatically since yesterday (thanks Jeff ;)) - but it's still not very warm. I feel a bit in limbo at the moment - there's quite a lot of things to do outside the house - finish sorting out my garage, get the caravan (and the Rover) washed, replace the jockey wheel on the 'van, the lawns are pretty close to needing another cut; BUT - it is still uncomfortably cold out there and it's much easier to stay indoors in the warmth -and do nowt :o

reworht 1st April 2015 08:53

Don't panic - somebody thank me quick - I'm on  666  thanks

greendriver 1st April 2015 08:58

Morning all, who released the album "The least We Can Do Is Wave To Each Other"?

I've always liked that title...

Somewhat tied to the house because of Milka, over 16 years old now. He's deaf, all but blind, stiff back legs, leaks occasionally as in doesn't give himself enough time to get to the door (Vax carpet cleaners are great things) but loves his food, still plays with his toys, doesn't like walks anymore though. Because he leaks he doesn't go in the car now so everything has to be a day trip and overnight stays are out. Ging suggested putting a nappy on him in the car . . . . good luck with that idea! I wouldn't leave him with anyone, not at his age. Feel sorry for him when he does leak, you can see he's upset by it and takes off into his bed in the corner, can't be angry with him over it.
