The prblem of the coolant leak came from a cracked cylinder liner nr 2. The engine is a the moment out of the car and dismanteled. All 6 liners will be replaced, new pistonrings, lifters and gaskets. Skimmed heads. Hopefully on the road x-mas time

Very nice to hear that the car is being saved, and the root cause identified. There was little doubt at the time that the inlet manifold gasket had failed, perhaps a combination of failures. However it seems that the car is now in capable hands.

I hope you don't mind me posting a copy of your post on our local FB page (https://www.facebook.com/groups/1800705170206717). May, the previous owner, posted there and others might like to hear the end of the saga.

Keep well

Ok, insvestigating the engine closer i did not find any cracks in the liner.
What i found was corrosion build up on the wedge the liner stays on. Corrosion has forced the liner upwards causing possible coolant leak, also i found that the oilscraper rings on piston 2 missed the spacer, this could explain extra oil consumption
