Cheers Ian

Very, very, possible as a friend of mine has a 75 tourer that was supplied new to someone in the forces through the BFPO in Germany & it is RHD.

Thank you for all the comments and feedback, I have run out of thanks.

I am going to list Wurzel for sale during the course of the day today.

Unfortunately Wurzel will not be available to view until September, but I am listing Wurzel for sale on the forum as I would very much like him to go to another member who will cherish and look after him.

How long are you going to keep us in suspense its killing me already:D

There is a car I have in mind, but Wurzel will need to sell first. I am not going to give too much away at the moment, except to say it is likely to be a convertible.

Not a Streetka unbelieveably the C1 was meant to be the Streetka.

This post on Wurzel is one of the stories on the Google App In the Stories to read section, my father in law phoned me to let me know.

Just been reading through the service history & all I can say is.....Good Grief, MJN did well out of you & some of those prices are questionable!

Good luck with the sale Clyde.

I have spent a lot of money on ensuring Wurzel has been mantained to a very high standard, but Wurzel was and still is a money no object car, if a repair or something needs replacing then it is done with the reassurance of being worked on by an MG Rover Specialist who knows the cars inside out. It also means Wurzel has a fully stamped service book with detailed invoices of any work carried out and parts replaced which will be reassuring for any future owner.

Wow Clyde, I've just read your advert and all I can say is I think you will still own Wurzel for a long time to come ;)

I'm in agreement with MH007, you have had your eyeballs well and truly wiped in terms of what you've been charged for work carried out......£209 for an AC belt and auxiliary belt  we are talking about less than £30 (trade) in parts, and an hours labour at most, it actually books at .75 hours.

So auxiliary belt (retail) PQS101300 £22, and AC belt PQS101310 £25.99.

These have a 35% discount code to be applied before VAT, so you would look at 15% less than the nett price quoted.

So how much are their labour charges, and how do they arrive at their job times I wonder :getmecoat:

I have just rechecked the invoice for this work and I have just noticed an MOT was also invoiced at the time and there was an issue with a tensioner bolt. I have amended the for sale advert to reflect there was slso an MOT included in the cost.
