clutch woes update

Hi all, just to update all members who have sent advice etc. Have had total replacement done by local mg/ rover specialist (master , slave, and clutch plates, bearing, etc. ) flywheel within tolerances so time will tell. Interestingly the release bearing was totally wrecked, falling to pieces on removal. Considering I have done less than 1000miles since purchasing the beast I guess a previous owner had little mechanical sympathy, as I have had 20 plus cars over 50 years and have never needed a replacement clutch!!! happy Christmas motoring to you all.
