Hi Jennifer, and other attendees.

All exhibitors are asked to arrive by 09:30, "park where directed by the stewards, and then walk back to the stewards tent to collect programme and exhibitor card etc."

I intend to be there at 08:45, and will first of all hand the stewards a written list of our members with a request for parking together.

I will park where directed and erect a gazebo with flag pole, then generally do what I can to reserve consecutive parking spots.

In previous years, many groups have parked up together, but it can't be guaranteed.

This event has always been well organised, with a separate entrance and exit gate, and public car park marshalled by (a very enthusiastic) Air Training Corps.
Their arm and hand signals appear to be as if directing taxiing aircraft.

May I just re-emphasise that the event is on the A 20, not the M 20, which is very close.

Looking forward to a relaxing day out.

Regards

Mike

Hi Mike,
Thanks for the info, hope I find it without getting lost.
See you all next Sunday.
Cheers Jennifer

To assist with navigation to field:-

I've emphasised the A20, to avoid mistakes being made, from whichever direction you are coming from.

However, I think most, if not all, will actually be on the M25 as they approach the vicinity.

Therefore, simplest of all is to join the M20, East or Coast bound at (M25 Jct.3 / M20 Jct.1)

Exit at Jct.2, and 1st Left at the roundabout, at the end of the slip road.
The venue will now be 150 yds. on the left.

Return directions on the day as Jct 2 is restricted access and exit.

Regards

Mike

Now got my ticket, how do we know where to meet?

I think when we get there we will be directed according to our car type. We could meet up on route and enter together if you want to.
Best for both of us is the White Hart car park in Brasted TN16 1JE

Just seen this after my reply to Jan. For both of you you can assured that I will NOT be spoiling my Sunday by driving on the most hateful road in Britain or any motorway come to that 😁

BRG75 21st June 2022 06:51

No problem with that; I won't be using the motorway either.
