Absolutely, a lot of makers seem to put the coloured vinyl on the top, which I do not like, this guy puts it UNDER the acetate, at least he did on mine. My only criticism was that the logos were a little small.

Ah well,
Tried to order and the website is a lot of cr*p. Paypal express checkout disappears and does not work, registering as a user you cant get past the form where it asks for shipping method. Sigh. |
Just tried too, he’s changed the website quite agree with you. I’ve emailed the guy.

I’ve just tried again and it seems okay. I had to re register as it could not find my old account but it seemed fine, I got to the pay now on PayPal without a hitch?
Agreed, does not seem very robust as a website. It’s not a professional outfit which might explain it. |
Just heard from [email protected], they’ll take your order while their tech team sort out the problem. Just email Wyn.

I need some new plates making and wanting mg rover on them too
|
The front clear acrylic plates with the reflective stuck behind are easy enough to order, but many plate makers and suppliers are finding it difficult to source the clear acyclic smiley shaped plates for the 75/ZT.
This is why some offer the yellow reflective stuck on black ABS plastic, its not ideal, but its a cheap and easy solution to get the correct smiley shape. |
Thanks, I have wondered why they have become difficult to source.

Wyn got in touch!
Great service, Im just praying the plates are as good as they look in the pics. I had some plates off Demon plates, and the quality was fantastic in terms of looks. However they will not do any Rover customisation any more, and the whole market is tightened up, which I find ridiculous tbh, there are more important things to worry about in the world. As long as the font is standard, black, and can be read by ANPR, I think that is all that should matter. Halfords used to do Rover 75 style plates, and the quality was the best I have ever seen. They used Signam pieces, but now its all changed and they only do standard sizes!! :( |
