Nice one Steve, Those look proper tasty. :drool4:

Made 31 (I think, lost count), 28 left after extensive sampling procedure :D Prep time wasn't too long but with only being able to steam five at a time took nearly three hours to cook them!

Good morning Ian, that’s great news about the stairlift which is going to be life changing now and for the future. Champagne and Roses! :)

Thank you for sharing the news and thank you for posting up the photos of your garden flowers and food from the kitchen. I read the story of how Noreen reversed into your mates Cadillac, a happy ending :)

Morning all, Nice bright start to the day, but looking at the forecast it's going to change to rain after lunchtime.
I'm off to take Mam for a blood test appointment at the clinic shortly.

Morning Phil, Yes it will make a big difference for her getting up & down the stairs safely.

Thank you, I love this time of year when the flowers are in bloom. What a worry that week was being away from home, It was pure luck no chrome trim/light fittings or emblems were damaged as they would take time to source, the damage on our 1977 Camaro was the front nose cone of the bumper was pushed in which I managed to push out with a hammer shaft, there was just some crazing to the soft impact material but nothing major.

Morning, up for the second time, Ging is dayshift so was up at five, back to bed for a couple of hours. Old Scottish word best described the weather here, dreich . . . . cool, damp, misty.

Just slipped Pops her tranquilliser, groomer coming at ten.

Thank you Ian for thanking me, it’s funny how some people rarely say thank you for anything, is it because they are more important than us, or to say thank you is below them.

How exciting to have owned a Camero. I have rented cars in the USA but never a Camera, powerful and gutsy motors.

When we are back in the UK I think we will be talking to an agent about selling our flat in Bristol. It’s on the 4th floor with no lift, eight flights of stairs with 8 steps in each flight. Last year after my leg operation and Jessica’s hip replacement, the walk up the stairs was at times a struggle and challenging. Some of my heavier friends found it impossible to visit because of the stairs.

Yesterday we both attended the eye department and was examined by a retinal specialist who said neither of us had cataracts, great news, he mentioned my right cornea has a scar from the eye shingles. He said if it was bothering me, I could go to the Eye Institute in Hyderabad in India where Cornea transplantation is available 24 hours a day. As it’s not been an issue, I won’t bother.

This afternoon we are seeing the skin doctor to have some lesions iced.

Another hot and humid day.

How the hell does Pops know  Groomer arrived and Pops promptly disappeared, had to dig her out from her hidey hole under the chair.

You're not wrong. I saw the groomer's van arrive, went down to plug the electrical lead into a socket in the garage. Came back up, Pops had disappeared. Hell of a job getting her out from under the chair.

Good morning all, yesterday it was a visit to the skin clinic to have various lesions caused by the sun iced - cryotherapy, chemical peel with a corrosive cream was declined.

Head is a bit sore and scabby from the treatment, but can’t be helped as that is part of the healing process.

What’s everyone up to?

Morning Phil, morning all,

Hope the skin treatment does the trick once it has healed.

I'm off to Lotus Cars later and popping over to the Marina to pick up some new mooring lines we have had made/spliced for Lady Emma.

I'll also be booking Lady Emma in to have her lifted and placed on the hard for two weeks.
We will be doing the anti foul paint, replacing anodes and new shaft packing glands.
Hoping to do this mid June and back in the water by the end of June .
