Default tv/sat nav/tv

does anyone know if its possible to fit a dvd/sat nav/trip computer as fitted to higher spec models to my 52 plate 75, model cdt 2.0 litre. i have searched on e-bay for rover 75 tv, and thought this may look quite good, basically are the wiring looms standard throughout the range or would this not be a viable option.
any thoughts would be very welcome.

Hi there,

I've done one in about 6 hours, that's including the loom. Having had a Double Din and a Hi-line, I'd opt for the hi-line, granted it's not as advanced in standard form, but for me it's OEM stuff all the way.

Best

Not the DVD play part, using the Hi-Line, the rest can be done, but it is a lot of effort for not much return. The loom would need to be retrofitted too. The best solution, better specced than the Hi-Line is the aftermarket DD which can play video DVD's, does much more and is bang up to date.

Really all it lacks is the motion sensing and speed sensing built into the Hi-Line's GPS system.

Fix a poor handbrake; DIY ABS diagnostic unit; Loan of the spanner needed to change the CDT belts; free OBD diagnostics +MAF; Correct Bosch MAF cheap; DVB-T install in an ex-hi-line system; DD install with a HK amp; FBH servicing.

I've taken a vow of poverty. To annoy me, send money.

The wiring wouldn't already be there.

You'd need the screen (up front) and the tuner / GPS unit (in the boot) and the antennas & loom.
