Does it really? AS I find it, the 'logo' file is effectively the system boot image before the radio starts. When 'Navigation/GPS' is selected, I get the Primo load screen which is called 'loading' as far as I can determine. It certainly is in iGo8.

What I can't yet fathom is how to change Primo's load screen. There are several images supplied with the program but it isn't clear how they're changed. I'd like to make my own 'loading' image for Primo2.

Anyone know where to put it?

TC

Default logo size

I have a couple of logos for my lightoak dash mk2 that I could post, but I was under the impression from a post by Sean that the size needed to be 720x480. Is this correct.

You need to put the sd card into your pc, then search the card for 'loading.bmp'. You will get a list of various loading.bmp files. Look for the one that is 800x480, and then replace this with your new image, which should be the same size, and renamed to loading.bmp
Hope this helps

That's what I did before, but it still displays the Primo load screen. This is the 'loading.bmp' file located in Data.zip\ui_igo9\800_480 folder.
I guess once the zip file has been unpacked it puts the image file into a separate memory cache otherwise my 'loading.bmp' image would display when restarting GPS. Or is there another instance of the loading image that's used?

Put the card back in the pc and search again. Then double click on that file and see if it opens your picture. If not, check through the list and check for any other 800x480 instances. Iirc there is another instance of it further down the list

If I remember right there is another loading.bmp in the branding zip file.

That's the one I changed for the igo loading screen.
