Default Towbar Electrics - Minifuse box

After 200 years (it feels) of fu*£$£U$( about, i had chance to take the fuse box out of the car to fit the wiring into socket 22. However the link cable doesn't fit into the socket behind the fusebox at all - its got a square end. I think my car is right on the border of change over being a 53 plate, has the mk2 gearbox but is a mk 1 to look at.

How do i fit the green/pink cable into the right socket??

I fitted OEM towbar electrics to mine and I think I splice it into the fusebox.
I'll need to check and take a pic for you.

I've had a look I think the link cable on mine was cut so I've used a different colour of cable where it connects into the fusebox.
It's purple green cable in the middle of the second picture.

Hopefully the above helps.
