Good morning Ian, that’s great news. It’s time for something to go your way and it’s less pressure on you in getting Noreen up and down the stairs. Do keep at getting the community physio to visit. Yesterday I had three 6 monthly MRI scans with IV contrast to check on the grafts and bypasses in both legs and the abdominal aorta, the results will be collected today and the hospital said they will put them on a disc, which I can show to the surgeon when I see him on Monday. He said he will send the scan report to the surgeon in London who did the operations, it’s standard follow up. Hopefully everything will be okay. The next thing to organise is have a check on the cataracts which were diagnosed 5 years ago for Jessica and myself. The operation here is £450-£750 per eye depending on the type of lens chosen, the eye consult is £25. For the test we will have to get an Uber to collect us afterwards. By the way Ian, my younger brother completed 6 months of chemotherapy and the MRI results were no cancer spread anywhere else, he continues on monthly hormone injections and is being weaned off the steroids. PSI back to normal levels. All the best for today and the new stair lift, how exciting. |
