Pairing additional FBH remote fob
Good evening everyone.
I have tried a couple of times to pair my additional remote fob, but I don't seem to be doing it right. The first attempt was to disconnect the multi-plug on top of the FBH for a few seconds, take the batteries out of the remote as well. Then once replaced, reattached the plug and press 'off' simultaneously (holding off for a few seconds) The second attempt was to remove under bonnet fuse 8 (FBH) using the same procedure. Clearly I'm doing something wrong because it hasn't worked! All batteries are new, and both fobs are working. Remote fobs are T80/T90 type, like this: Last edited by Sidetops; 20th December 2013 at 15:59.. |

The remote must match the unit in the car. If it doesn't, it won't work.

I believe you can pair up to 5 remotes, and the replacement remote is the same type. I've done some research and think that the fuse you are supposed to disconnect is the inside one, not the under bonnet one

Godfer had a pairing problem, it turned out his fob was not a match to his unit so it would not pair.
He did sell the fob to another member with the right unit and it paired up straight away. If in doubt about which fuse, disconnect the battery? |

Hi Simon, 1,place batteries in hand set,2,remove 1A fuse (black) from the heater fuse holder .3,wait for at least 5secs.4,refit fuse in holder and press OFF button on transmitter for at least 1 second within the next 5 seconds. 5,learning is complete!

Have you managed to get the fob working? I also have a FHB but haven't a remote key fob. I have the additional little buttons in the car (arm rest).
I've been looking for a second fob for ages, ebay my main main search. With no luck! Know of anywhere I may be able to source one? |
