![]() ABS warning light appeared.
Checked on OBD reader and it said left rear sensor. After a struggle, removed old sensor and replaced with new. Reset all fault codes but after very short drive warning light comes back on. Where do I go from here ? |

![]() Rusty rear brake back plates can shed flakes of rust off which stick to the magnetic abs ring built into the rear wheel hub. You may need a new rear hub and the back plate might be saved by removing flakey rust and painted or you might need new ones.
Also if you've bought a cheap sensor they don't always work, best getting one from DMGRS who also rear hubs and back plates. Hope this helps |

![]() Cleaning the ABS magnetic ring may not be enough, were there any marks on, it doesn't take much as I found out.
Do a search, there's plenty of threads, particularly Arctics, tbh I'm not the most knowledgeable person, just what I found out and from the Nano meets. |
