Got to agree with this! My other car is an mgb and there are several pre-tax mgb's on the scene that have been tuned up to the eyeballs including V8 3.5 conversions that still pay no tax! I guess that if this strategy brings in more revenue either by increased VED or by new car purchase similar to the scrapage scam we'll see more of this. Shame really - I loved the auto box in my old 800.
