Default Poor radio reception

My 75 has always had quite rubbish audio reception, pretty much anywhere ... It is rare I can find 6 stations to fill the memory pre sets

Slightly stereotypically I have yet to go anywhere it won't find classic fm

Anyone any ideas where the issue may lie ?

I tried various solutions - and gave up. Then I came across the Pure Highway digital radio adaptor - fantastic ! I can listen to Classic FM anywhere along with loads of other stations. Really is a good piece of kit.

The aerial is the rear window heating elements have a look at the connections. Or fit one of these!! Although an aerial using the heating elements is neat imho an external one would work better.

Interesting, maybe the fact half my elements don't work will be contributing then.

So what does the thing on the drivers side rear quoted window do ( back one, drivers side over the load bed, I assumed this was the ariel)

It is one of the rear side windows on your car, I didnt see that you had a tourer.

I think it is the drivers side, pull the trim back and look for the connection. There is an aerial amp somewhere to.

These two threads will help.

Done some checking,
I have the antenna on the drivers side rear window. It has what appear to be two connection points on it
the one nearest the tailgate is connected and firm - the other is not connected at all - but there is no evidence of a wire to connect to

Does anyone know if the front one should be connected (im thinking it may be for something I dont have, like satnav?)
