Zt scuttle panel
question does the scuttle panel beneath the windscreen on a zt come in two halves,as i have noticed that there is a quarter inch gap about half way, across the bottom of the windscreen,it looks as though it has either been ill fitted,or has it been broken in half,I'm a bit worried about rain water getting into the engine,i think at some point it has had a new windscreen fitted, and the panel has not been fitted correctly, your comments this problem will be appreciated thanks ian.

Hiya,
Scuttle panel is a one piece affair, don't worry about water ingress, a new scuttle panel wont stop any more water going in than your old one. The design of the bulkhead is to allow water in, just make sure your drain holes are kept clear and all will be ok.

Also, I believe that the rubber that runs along the bottom of screen is attached to it too, correct me if wrong.
It`s the rubber that can peel away from each side of the screen, like mine have. Ken. Edit; by the way we are in the wrong thread lol |
