Side impact sensor - offside ?????
My car is a 2001 v6 conny . I have just started getting an airbag warning light up on the dash so I used Toaf as a diagnostic method and got :
9144 Side sensor right - communication 9142 Side sensor right - plausibility Seems clear enough , I thought , the impact sensor . I have previously replaced the n/s one a good few years ago . However RAVE gave me contradicting info , showing it both on the inside of the sill , and also on the front of the seat cross-member .I think the later orange one is meant to be on the sill , and the earlier green one on the cross member ? However , having undone the o/s seat and tipped it back I then made a cautious surgical cut in the carpet to allow me to force it up and have a look and a feel underneath . I can't find any sign of the impact sensor I can't see if it is under the plastic airduct which passes under the seat here , but can't feel anything . Can anyone confirm that my model actually has an o/s sensor , and where is it ? Also , will it be part no. YDB100310 , as opposed to YDB000310 I am a bit puzzled here .....

it was on the rear crossmember , not the front . It is YDB100310 , so just got to try and find a new one now ; not easy ?

Those appear to be the later impact sensors that would normally be orange.. @chris75 .. does yours look like the DMGRS sensor YDB000310 https://www.dmgrs.co.uk/products/75-...0bd3b03d&_ss=r Or what i think are the earlier sensors correctly in green YDB100310 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/126284936...EAAOSw2z5lppl1

They are indeed the earlier sensors shown on your ebay link , YDB100310.
DMGRS , can you please find some earlier ones ? I would prefer to find new ones ,but might have to settle for used . I wont know if they work till I fit them Next step is to remove the old one and just try a contact cleanup ; maybe I get lucky ................

I have seen adverts for new versions of the sensor for the Rover 45 , part YDB100410 , and they look identical to the 75 one .
Could they be the same and we could use them on the 75 ? Anyone know anything ?
