Default Virtual T4 Source Code available here

https://drive.google.com/drive/folde...kZ?usp=sharing

These are the projects created in Visual Studio which contain the source code/interface circuit for the Virtual T4.

I have commented out the main license check so that it loads and runs but it will need "tidying up"

I am not a programmer so a lot of the code was written "on the fly" and probably doesn't follow standards.

I will not be answering any questions partly because i have forgotten the process flow and didn't write comments and secondly i have lost interest in it.

BTW - With additional coding, it will work on the MGF/TF, 25/ZR and 45/ZS models.

Good luck and if you decide to carry on its development, please share it with the community.

Best Regards
Phil

Just thought I'd chuck this up so that anyone who already has a VT4 lead can use it.

This is tested and working with VT4 leads. I have removed the rest of the license checks that were still in place and compiled the application.

This shouldn't pick up any existing license information and should appear as fully vin unlocked with no expiration date.

This application wasn't built by me and I don't offer any support for it. I simply found the rest of the licensing sections and commented them out or changed them around so they wouldn't apply.

Nice additional offer to the above, it will help others no doubt.

Hey Jamie, for those with a real T4 like me, would you mind sharing necessary bits of information such as :
- which kind of lead is needed for VT4? I have a VAG KLL one, modded to use with IPKChanger, would that do the trick ?
- do you need to run the VT4 software from a specific folder on the hard drive?
- all in all, the basic process to get this running when one already has all of the RDS software working on a laptop with a real T4 (T4-Lite USB version in my case)?

Since my T4 runs fine I'd just like to explore VT4 as an alternative if (when) my T4-Lite interface goes kaputt...

Thanks

Ditto the above post. I've also got a very reliable T4 thanks to the help from you and others. I've stripped it down following Arctic's idea so everything is contained in a Tiger Beer shopping trolley but it still needs 240v which isn't so easy to arrange when attending local meets.

Keep well
